I'm Laurenzo, a passionate engineer and leader who loves collaborating to build teams and products.

These days I am focused on leadership and engineering, with attention towards assembling diverse high performing teams, individual growth and culture.

Of course, I still love coding too.

I have a broad set of experience across different industries, organizations and technologies that allow me to confidently navigate challenges and opportunities I come across. I've worked on building teams and software in the hardware, mobile, desktop, web, and native platforms, including SASS products across creative, medical, e-commerce, social, SRE industries and more.

I'm currently a Staff Engineering Manager at GitHub leading engineers to improve the developer experience that millions of developers and companies rely on to build, ship, and maintain their software.

Prior to GitHub, I was the Director of Engineering at Blameless leading and growing the engineering team to bring SRE practices and principles to organizations to help them advance to a culture of resilience. I've held several roles at Blameless along the way, including Founding Engineer, Staff Software Engineer, and Engineering Manager. Having started at Blameless as a founding engineer, I loved being in the trenches, wearing many hats, and iterating quickly to scale Blameless into a best in class SASS product with an incredible team.
